Worship Arts FAQ
1. What should I do if I am having trouble opening the files to make an audition video?
Answer: Make sure you have a playback option like iTunes so your device can open it. Sometimes devices can be quirky, so simply trying on another device can help keep things simple. Otherwise, please reach out by emailing Jill Raisleger at: [email protected].
2. What should I do if I am having trouble uploading my audition video?
Answer: Make sure you have a playback option (follow step 9) and if you are still having trouble, please reach out by emailing Jill Raisleger at: [email protected].
3. What happens after I submit my audition video and application?
Answer: The Worship Arts team will collectively review your video audition. They will decide if they would like to have you come in for a live audition. Watch for an email regarding your next steps. This collective review happens once every quarter, so don’t worry if you haven’t heard back in a few weeks, but always feel free to check in by emailing Jill Raisleger, at: [email protected].
4. Is there a midweek rehearsal?
Answer: Yes, in Appleton we have rehearsal on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 pm. We gather in the Green Room at 6:00 for pizza and fellowship before rehearsal. In Hortonville, rehearsal is also on Thursdays from 6:00-8:30 pm.
5. Is there a Sunday morning rehearsal?

Answer: Yes, you can set your preferences in your Planning Center profile once you are on the team.
8. Do I have to audition for every season?
Answer: No, you only have to audition once. You can bow out for a season and come back in for another.
9. How will I know when I serve and what songs to prepare?
Answer: We use a platform called Planning Center Online (PCO). Through this platform, you will receive requests to serve and have access to all relevant service details, including event times and resources. Additionally, this is where you can easily communicate your block-out dates to let us know when you are unavailable to serve.
10. What happens if I get sick or an emergency comes up when I am scheduled to volunteer?
Answer: Let us know right away if this happens- email our Jill Raisleger at: [email protected].
