Description: To continue his work on earth, Jesus sends his people: scars and all. Wherever you find yourself, if you are a follower of Christ, you are sent there by Jesus to play a Spirit-empowered role in his work of forgiveness.

1. Take time to reflect on why and in what way the Father sent Jesus.
2. Read John 20:19-23 a couple of times. If Jesus sends his people as the Father sent him, what can we learn about our purpose for being sent from the life and work of Jesus?
3. What are some of the areas into which you have been sent (workplace, relationships, home, community, etc.)? How does this passage speak to the purpose Jesus might have in sending you there?
4. How can you apply what you learned to your everyday life?
