"You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand" (NIV). -Psalm 16:11
See the joy in the dawn of a new day.
Hear the joy in the laughter of a child.
Taste the joy in the bounty God provides.
Smell the joy in the fragrance of a blooming rose.
Feel the joy in the gentle touch of a loved one’s fingers as they caress your face.
"Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy" (NIV). -John 16:20
Do not let the tears of your sorrow go unshed. Allow yourself to grieve losses and disappointments. God knows the hurts of your heart and longs to hold you in his loving arms as you weep. For your weeping will empty your heart and prepare it to receive the joy that is in Christ Jesus.
