Before joining AAC in the Summer of 2020, Melanie served for five years as an international worker with the Alliance, first in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and then in Paris, France. During this time, she and her husband Brandon focused on developing young missional leaders while investing in ministries ranging from drilling wells in rural Sub-Saharan Africa to creative outreach efforts in post-Christian Western Europe. Melanie has a B.A. in Elementary Education and is currently working on her Masters in Organizational Leadership. Prior to working internationally, Melanie was the director of several daycares.

Melanie and Brandon have been married since 2004 and have four children, Maxx, Myles, Abi, and Knox. In her free time, Melanie likes to play games with her family, cook and perfect recipes, give Brandon home-improvement projects, and catch up with friends.
