Sister Churches
CONO NORTE CALLAO ALLIANCE CHURCH
Lima, Peru
Cono Norte Callao has been in partnership with Alliance Church for nearly 20 years. The church is a network of over nine campuses in parts of Lima that are connected as one church family. Pastor Antonio Rojas started the church 22 years ago and between all of its campuses, the church family is similar in size to Appleton Alliance Church.
Cono Norte Callao’s vision is to plant seven new congregations as part of their CNC network of campuses, seven additional churches around greater Lima, and another seven churches around Peru by 2025.
Cono Norte Callao has a dynamic ministry of restoring families and reaching out to children through their Mighty Hearts ministry. Their partnership with Alliance’s Discovery Land Global is an important part of their ministry to children and families.
Alliance Church has partnered significantly by providing resources and funds for projects, especially with church planting and Mighty Hearts. Recent short-term mission trips to Peru include men’s work crews, medical teams to support their Hope clinic, Christmas teams, English camp teams, high school student teams, and women’s teams.
Central Alliance Church
Burkina Faso
Central Alliance Church of Ouagadougou has partnered with our Alliance Church for over 16 years. Pastor Job Dao leads a dynamic church family which has planted many churches around the country and developed outreach through ministry to children and the poorest of the poor.
Central Church has the largest Compassion site ministering to children in Burkina Faso. The church also champions and invests in the next leaders of the Burkina National Church. Through our relationship with Central Church and the greater Burkina Alliance National Church, Alliance has helped to support the start-up of both Awana and Discovery Land Global throughout Burkina Faso.
Over the years we have sent several short-term mission teams to work on well drilling projects, to assist with the construction of church buildings, and to help provide leadership training alongside our sister church and the National Church.
French Alliance Church
France
Over the last few years, our Alliance Church has been developing a relationship with the French Alliance Church. With the blessing of Pastor Michel Viguier, the President of the National Church, Alliance-Appleton is looking to partner with several churches around France. Potential locations include Bordeaux, Toulouse, Limoges and Paris.
The French Alliance is focused on developing the next generation of pastors and planting new churches around the country. We also work closely with several U.S. International Workers around France, including Todd & Terri Althaus and also Pastor Mally, and Valary McLoughlin. Alliance Church has helped out with funding and partnering in Bordeaux and has sent short-term mission teams to Paris and Limoges.
France is a post-Christian country where there is a great need for creative outreach and strengthening of the National Church.
