For the past several years, DL Awana students have used the verses they memorized to earn donations to expand Discovery Land Awana clubs across Africa. Today, 67,544 kids in 13 African countries are actively using Discovery Land in 1,075 schools and churches. Amazing!

But there’s still work to do. Millions of children are waiting, and thousands of schools and churches are eager to bring Discovery Land to their communities. This year our goal is to double our impact - Your student is invited to participate in this exciting project. Every penny matters!

To participate, pick up a Verse-A-Thon packet in Discovery Land and follow these quick steps:

1. Count the verses you/your student have memorized this school year. Don't forget about the DL Top 12!
2. Ask for cash, check or online donations based on the number of verse you memorized. (Ex- 20 verses, could mean a $20 donation.)*
3. Turn in donations by Tuesday, February 25th!

*Parents who registered a student for Awana will automatically receive a link to a personalized donation page through Pledgebrite, an online fundraising software. Additional participants can be added by emailing [email protected]. Three donation invitation slips are provided in each Verse-A-Thon packet. Additional invitations are available in the DL check-in area.
