The Special Needs Ministry is very excited to be hosting another "Rest & Connect + Respite" event on Friday, October 4, 2024.

Rest & Connect is our ministry for parents/caregivers of individuals with special needs in our church and our community. Twice a year we host an event for the parents to come and simply rest and connect with each other, while offering respite care for their children.

Would you like to be part of this? For the respite portion to be successful we need volunteers to be coaches for the students with special needs. Your responsibilities that evening are simple - support the student you are paired with :) We will have a short training and dinner from 5:30-6:15 pm the night of the event. Students can begin arriving at 6:15 and the event will run from 6:30-8:30 pm.

We will email you in advance information about who you are working with and how to best support them. We would love to have you serve with us for this one-night commitment!
