Psalm 78:1-8: “…We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done…”
Have you ever been blown away by seeing God do something amazing? Maybe it was big, maybe it was small, but you were confident that it was God’s hand at work. What did you do with this incredible experience? Did you bottle it up or allow it to bubble out of you?
Psalm 78 challenges each of us to remember and cherish these events of relational growth with Christ and fully acknowledge his miraculous work. But, this is only half of the picture. Often, we forget or neglect to share God’s faithfulness in our lives and with our children. God’s word is clear, we will tell the next generation of the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord.
One question Discovery Land kids often ask is, “How do you know God is real?” When we give personal testimonies of our God, this sets up the next generation to not only know whether He keeps His promises and know His power but also helps them to confidently believe in his existence in the year 2020 and into the future.
Let’s become families that create a generation that trusts in God by creating spiritual conversations that will help your children become resilient disciples now, tomorrow, and into the future.
What’s holding you back?
