1 Timothy 6:7says, “For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.”
When the rest of the world assumes, "If money comes to me, it is FOR me,” we believe that while money comes to us, it doesn’t belong to us–we are managers (Matthew 25).
When the rest of the world assumes “losing” is losing, we believe losing is how we find our life (Luke 17:33). When the world believes we “own” things, Christians believe we“own” nothing, and, therefore, have peace knowing we can’t “lose” anything (1 Timothy 6:7). When the world assumes nothing is certain, Christians know there is a 100% guarantee of blessing on the other side of obedience to God (Matthew 6:33). So, while the world gets anxious, Christians get cheerful–about money, about life, and about uncertainty (2 Cor. 9:6-7).
