Paul grew up in Appleton, but after spending 10 years in student ministry at a church in Eau Claire, WI has returned back to the area. He and his wife Nicole met at youth group at AAC back in the late 90s, were married in 2005 and have been doing ministry together ever since. Paul has a degree in Elementary Education from UW-Eau Claire and a Master's degree in Transformational Leadership from Bethel Seminary.

In 2013 Nicole and Paul adopted their three kids from foster care. Ava, Abby, and Ethan keep them busy and are always teaching them something. Paul is passionate about helping students and families navigate the middle school and high school years while building an authentic faith in Christ and maintaining healthy family relationships. Paul loves sports, good food, and time with family. Paul dislikes ketchup, heights, and being alone.
